Perhaps you haven’t even heard its name but the animals that visit here daily seem to know it by instinct. Ghatgain is a small village lying in Patihani town of Chitwan district in Nepal. Although the western world has tried to make its presence onto the livelihood of Ghatgain dwellers, it’s still detached from modem comfort. 

With an aim to serve any wandering soul that stumbles upon this village, Ghumtee Riviera Resort has been one of the oldest running family resorts in Ghatgain. And for twenty-five years, we have been providing excellent service for people who seek to experience nature in its bare form.

Twenty-five years ago, we started our journey with a couple of huts with thatched roofs providing rudimentary hospitality services. Later we tried to integrate some modern facilities to ease the experience of our visitors but it usually didn’t work as expected. To overcome this issue, we decided to build secure homes that served some level of modern comfort but without hampering the natural grandeur of the place. And you will experience this philosophy once you visit us. Moreover, the present look you see in Ghumtee Riviera is the result of our philosophy of “Providing Comfort in Nature’s Lap”.
